Legal career and professional experience:
Antonii Dimitrov’s legal career began in prestigious Bulgarian law firms (since 2015), where he advised leading corporations and financial institutions. His accumulated experience and knowledge prompted him to set up his own law firm, Legaltera, with a clear vision that things can be done better and with a focus on results.
Since 2014, he has been participating in a judicial reform project funded by the Netherlands and led by the Union of Judges in Bulgaria.
Since 2023, he has also been a lecturer in contract law (contract law, tort law, and unjust enrichment) at Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski, where he trains future legal professionals.

Mrs. Staneva started her professional career during her studies at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”.
In 2009 she started working as a legal assistant in a private enforcement agent’s office. This helped her to get acquainted with the real application of the enforcement process and to acquire practical skills in analyzing and working with documents, negotiating, applying various enforcement procedural methods.
In 2012, she started working as a legal advisor in a large insurance company, where her work was mainly related to the representation of the company in court in relation to insurance claims.
From 2015 until the end of 2019, Ms. Staneva worked as a legal advisor in the banking sector, where she dealt with problem loans to individuals and legal entities. She is also involved in several insolvency proceedings.
As of December 2019, Ms Staneva is registered as an attorney at the Sofia Bar Association. Her extensive experience and knowledge in the field of consumer and bank loans and judicial enforcement help her to successfully litigate debt collection, interest and costs in consumer lending and unfair clauses in consumer contracts.
In addition, attorney Staneva practices in the following areas: legal advice and opinions in connection with insurance events, drafting claims, applications and complaints to insurance companies and judicial authorities, representation before insurance companies in connection with insurance events, legal representation in insurance cases, as well as cases relating to compensation for non-pecuniary damages; family and inheritance law.

Attorney-at-Law Nevena Konova is a highly experienced legal professional with more than 15 years of expertise in banking, commercial, corporate, and real estate law. Throughout her career, she has held senior legal positions in some of Bulgaria’s leading financial institutions, including DSK Bank AD, Societe Generale Expressbank AD, and International Asset Bank AD, specializing in corporate lending transactions and complex financing structures.
Her core practice focuses on advising corporate clients and financial institutions on corporate financing, credit structures, collateral arrangements, and risk management. She has extensive experience in drafting, negotiating, and reviewing a wide range of financing documentation, including investment loans, mortgage loans, syndicated facilities, framework credit agreements, bank guarantee facilities, amendments, and restructuring documentation.
Attorney Konova possesses substantial expertise in legal due diligence of real estate assets and collateral packages. Her work includes comprehensive reviews of title deeds, construction documentation, occupancy permits, encumbrance searches, registrations, annotations, and security interests recorded with the Property Register and the Central Register of Special Pledges. She has advised on numerous high-value corporate financing transactions, ensuring that collateral structures adequately protect lenders while facilitating successful project execution.
Her professional experience covers the establishment, amendment, renewal, and release of all major forms of security interests, including mortgages, pledges over commercial enterprises, shares, receivables, securities, and other corporate assets. She has extensive experience in drafting and coordinating notarial deeds, mortgage documentation, pledge agreements, assignment agreements, debt assumption and accession agreements, surety arrangements, and other security-related instruments.

She graduated in Law from the Faculty of Law at Plovdiv University “Paisii Hilendarski” with excellent results in her semester examinations. During her studies, she gained practical experience in drafting powers of attorney, statements of claim, and standard legal documents, conducting research in public registers and institutions, as well as preparing documents related to personal data protection (GDPR).
She actively participated in civil law case-solving competitions and simulated court proceedings (Moot Court Competitions), including before the European Court of Human Rights, and has won prize places at national and inter-university level.
During the academic year 2023–2024, she held the position of Vice President for Seminars and Conferences in a local group of the European Law Students’ Association (ELSA Bulgaria). She is the author of a published article in the online legal journal Studia Iuris on the topic “Aggressive Commercial Practices”.
In 2023, she was awarded for outstanding academic achievement by the Dean of the Faculty of Law at Plovdiv University “Paisii Hilendarski”, the President of the Plovdiv District Court, and the Plovdiv Bar Association. In 2024, she received the “Student of the Year” award in the field of Legal Sciences from the National Representation of Student Councils in the Republic of Bulgaria.

Victoria Angelova completed her law studies with distinction at the Faculty of Law of Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” in 2025. She began her professional career at Legaltera Law Firm. Her legal interests are focused on Obligations Law and Commercial Law. She has been part of the Legaltera team since early 2026, where she works in the field of banking and consumer lending.
Professional Experience:
Nadya Kozareva graduated with a degree in Creative Business from NHL Stenden University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands in 2026. As a marketing manager at Legaltera, she is responsible for managing the firm’s social media and brand identity, as well as developing strategies to attract clients.
